Sixth grade is preparing the for the PSSA tests through daily practice of Mathematics and Language Arts.

Daily math routines consist of the problem of the day with written explanations; PSSA skill instruction with oral articulation and problem solving; and individualized practice using the Houghton-Mifflin website.

Language Arts instruction includes reinforcement of reading strategies needed to comprehend and respond to Langugae Arts requirements for the PSSA.
