Hello & Welcome!

My name is Mr. Replogle, and I am a fifth grade teacher at Ebner Elementary.  I am excited to be your child's teacher!  I currently teach mathematics and science for half of fifth grade.

 

On my page, you will find helpful  links to websites that I utilize in the classroom and that you and your child can use at home! 

 

Quizlet.com is an excellent site for your child to practice and review their science vocabulary on a daily basis.  There are notecards, review games, spelling practice, and practice tests for your child to help them excel in science.  We will do tons of investigations and STEM challenges, utilizing robotics and other manipulatives throughout the year!

 

In my classroom, your child will be challenged and asked to find the tools and strategies that make them successful.  They will learn many ways to solve, think, and explain mathematical problems through learning different strategies and algorithms.  Please help and encourage them to the best of your ability, even if things are new to you too!

 

One of the most important ways for your child to be successful in fifth grade mathematics is to be knowledgeable and fluent with their math facts.  Everything we do in mathematics revolves around the four operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
