As many of you know, the volunteer requirements for the Altoona Area School District have changed for the upcoming school year. Your participation in your child's educational program is important to us! At Ebner Elementary, we have many volunteer opportunities for you to partner and help support your child grow throughout the year.
I have highlighted for you below some of the volunteer opportunities for the 2015-2016 that will require the completion of the clearances/documents/forms in the volunteer manual. The manual contains all of the current volunteer requirements and guidelines as to how to obtain/complete them.
To that end, we remind you that you do NOT need to complete the volunteer requirements to attend student performances, evening parent involvement activities, fundraiser events, day/evening concerts, or special ceremonies such as the Awards Assembly, Kindergarten Completion Ceremony, or 6th Grade Recognition.

- Volunteer Acknowledgement Form
- Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement
- Information on how to obtain the following necessary clearances: PA State Criminal Background Check, FBI Federal Criminal History Record, PA Child Abuse History Clearance
- Volunteer Affidavit Form
- Reportable Offense Obligation Form
